When I find my prince...

I long to be in love again,
Feel the warmth of a smile,
Feel the touch of the lips
Of someone who can’t live a day without
Just being next to me.
“But maybe that’s make-believe”
As I try to laugh it off,

But I know I need a man whose hearts ready to melt.

When I find my prince there won’t be any trumpets playing, or choir singing.
There won’t be the chirping of blue birds or the dancing of deer
and the sun won’t step down from the clouds.

The town won’t stop and the ground won’t move.
For when I find him life will go on…
the same as it always has.

When I find him,
only the trumpets in my heart will sing just loud enough for my ears to hear,
but things remain the same.

Since even where we can not see it, love is hiding and it is all around.
There were no big parades or parties just the meeting of lovers and the end of their search.
So when I find my prince, all I want is his love to guide me and protect me.
For no one needs to see this love to know that it is there.
So someday, if I find my prince…

I found him, and just as I predicted
No chorus sang, no bells chimed
Just the sound of happiness

Just the beginning of our final act.
